I went to a photography workshop recently, and one of the men hosting it referred to himself as a generalist. I love photographing all sorts of thing so I would like to believe that I am a generalist as well. The truth is I am best when photographing things I love.
I realized this while throwing several of my photographs up on flickr. Some of my best work is of CrossFit. This isn't to say I won't do a kick ass job at a wedding. I will... It will just be better if I like you. :)
Seriously though, I think I need to try to photograph more sports. What do you think? My flickr stream is on the post above this one.
