I have not decided yet whether or not I am actually going to do it today or not. I also have a photography meeting that I have to go to tonight. We are doing a print exchange. I have been excited about this for 2 months now. I have also been nervous about which print I should pick. I have decided on this one:
The watermark kind of interferes with the reflection but it is a necessary evil in this case. So, I will teach, maybe do a quick work out and then head to the meeting. I plan on running in dropping off the print and picking up one and then leaving to go home and get into bed.
I never know where the line is. When you should just push through and work out or when you should let your body deal with the illness and rest.
I almost ALWAYS err on the side of caution and take a day off if I'm not feeling good. Too many times I've tried to push through it and just prolonged my recovery.
ReplyDeleteI second Ryan's opinion. You know how I suck at WODs with sprinting and usually sub rowing? That's because I sprained my ankle when I was a freshman in college and didn't want to wait long enough to let it heal. Learn from my stupidity and rest when you need it.
ReplyDeleteAgreed...a few years ago, I decided to keep running on a foot that kept on hurting. It required me having surgery to fix the damage (i.e., they broke my foot and re-set it). Major bummer. Like Nelly, it's why I row almost exclusively now. Learn from my idiocy, too.
ReplyDeleteAnd on that note, I hope you're feeling better! :)
